If bringing in beef or pork, then you must call in ahead of time to schedule a drop off. Holding pins available as well if you need them. Hunters Burden is not responsible for the animals until time of kill. Cut sheets must be provided on the day of drop off. We will not call for cutting instructions after dropoff so please put all cutting instructions on the print out, if instructions are not provided the butcher will cut as they see fit. All Kill fees are due at the time of drop off. All meat is vacuum sealed to ensure freshness for our customers. Once packaged meat leaves the facility Hunters Burden is no longer responsible for any damages that may occur. Please check all boxes before leaving the facility, as well as Handle packag with care, as rough handling will lead to broken seals.

All of our beef hangs for 14 days, as well as longer times can be requested if the space is available. Expect to pick up meat 2.5-3 weeks after drop off to give time for proper freezing to keep your meeat safe. 1/4 poud burger patties are availble in 1 pound packs which comes with a 25 pack minimum and which cost 1$ per pound. Pork also hangs 3-4 days before processing, as well as longer hang times can be requested. expect to pick up your meat 1 week after drop off. Pork sausage options are also available for you and they cost the same as deer pricing per pound.
